Test Partners are Digital Leaders 100 Finalists
Test Partners is pleased to announce that they have been shortlisted for the ‘Digital Skills or Inclusion Initiative of the Year’ at the Digital Leaders 100 Awards, for our digiboomer review service.
The independent list recognises 100 people and organisations across the UK who are leading the way in digital transformation in all sectors. Previously, the list has featured industry names such as: Martha Lane-Fox, Mike Bracken and Eileen Burbidge.
The 100 finalists that make up the list will now compete for the public vote in one of 10 categories. This year’s list is made up of individuals and organisations with 44 private sector, 32 from the public sector and 24 from the non-profit sector.
Test Partners’ digiboomer review addresses the gap between UX and digital accessibility for older adults, and helps to make websites, "age-friendly".
Paul Crichton, Head of Accessibility and Digital Inclusion at Test Partners said, “We've done a lot of research into the digital accessibility needs of older adults, who make up 30% of the UK population. We’ve created a set of guidelines to follow to make websites age-friendly. We've shared a lot of research as white papers and blogs. It is amazing to have our work on digital inclusion recognized by being shortlisted.”
Voting to determine the final winner is now open to the public until midday 11 May 2018. The full list of finalists can be seen on the Digital Leaders 100 website.
About the Digital Leaders 100
Each year’s list is created from nominations submitted by members of the 127,000 strong Digital Leaders Community before being shortlisted by the DL100 judges who are taken from the Advisory Board members.
This year’s list is the 5th cohort to join the alumni of previous winners that now numbers over 400 leaders from Government, Enterprise, startups and charities. These former members stay in touch, network and learn from each other through participation in the DL100 Club.
